Movie : Zero Dark Thirty

This movie is based on true incidents happened during America’s quest for Osama Bin Laden. The search for osama began after attacks on world trade center on 9/11/2001. The search continued for 11 years until Osama bin laden was shot dead by one of the search units of American military.
The initial hour and half of movie revolves around how Maya (Jessica Chastain), who is in CIA, is only spending her whole time in searching for any clues or any thread which could help them find Osama or some major target from Al-Qaeeda group. Dan (Jason clarke) who was in pakistan on tasks to get information from detainees, also helps Maya in her search. The whole search gets paused in between when it was found in one of the video tapes that the guy who was considered to be major lead in the operation is dead.
Later when one of the interns in CIA informs Maya about possibility of look alikes in al-qaeeda group members, maya starts the operation again with new enthusiasm. It leads them to a house which is like a fortress in abottabad in pakistan. The whole search cannot proceed further unless the team knows who is living inside it. The team takes help from satelite survellience, tries using all local connections to find out whose inside it but they couldn’t. The Maya and team somehow manages to convince the US authorities to get a go ahead with operation to search inside the house with help from US military. It is known fact that Osama was found accidentally and shot dead inside the house in Abbottabad in Pakistan.
The director Kathryn Bigelow has done a brilliant job in making the movie an interesting watch. Jessica chastain also has given her best performance and she suits the character of Maya perfectly. The more interesting part of the movie is in its detailed script and scenes shot at real locations. It could have been made more interesting if the first half an hour of the story was scripted well, it looks more like a documentary, plot of the story seems missing in it. But never the less, in totality it is a must watch movie.
